CHICAGO | January 12, 2016 -- On January 17th and 24th, at the Heartland Studio Theatre, I'll be giving a performance of a brand new show. Lyrical Sublime is a ritual performance and conversation that extends meditations on citizenship, spiritual change, and the vicissitudes of identity in the midst of our yet-ambiguous moment.
It takes place in the Chicago of a shared imagination, and features original work in multiple genres, including verse, photography, collage, improvisation, and a Q & A whose rules differ from the standard.
January 17th and 24th will be the debut performances, but look out for more installations of this work, in concert with other developing projects, soon.
If you will be in Chicago this month, it would be a pleasure to have you present.
